Shelter Program

Shelter ProgramThe shelter program on the Baltimore campus provides 24-hour emergency service to children experiencing personal and family crisis who need to be separated from their current living situation. Staff help them transition within 60 days to a more stable environment, whether it is back home or in a foster care or residential program.

Up to 24 youth, ages 9 to 17, are housed in two cottages – one for boys and the other for girls.  Residents in the shelter program have access to the same facilities, services, staff and schooling as the youth living in the longer-term residential program on the Baltimore campus.
